Announced in 2015, the Dublin Bridge Street District has become a major destination in the Columbus area.
However, many locals have not seen the recent upgrades to the Scioto River bridge area.
The Bridge itself is an object of beauty. Starting in 2017, it is the longest single-span, single tower S-shaped suspension bridge in the world.
The bridge was completed in the spring of 2020. The bridge now officially connects old Dublin with the new Bridge Park district. This is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge, offering fantastic views of the Scioto River. There are parks on both sides of the river with plenty of trails and green space.
There are year-round activities going on. Dublin is planning many community activities to be hosted in the new areas. Art in Public Places and the Dublin Irish Festival will both be held here this year.
Check out their calendar of events to see what is going on.
A brand new Riverside Crossing Ice Skating Rink opened on January 2, 2022. Located at Riverside Crossing Park. Skating is $10 and is expected to be open until mid-March 2022.
The urban aspect of this project includes residential property and many businesses. It is truly a well-planned neighborhood. All of your errands can be taken care of on foot.
The restaurant offerings are really fantastic as well. There is something for everyone. Home town classics like Cap City Fine Diner & Bar, Local Cantina, and The Pearl as well as many new offerings.
North Market Dublin, from the same folks that brought you North Market Downtown, is a great addition to the area. These merchants are here to help you shop small and enjoy the personalized service, fresh groceries, and gifts that are unique to our area.
